Overview

Connect Talenox to Xemplo and create a cleaner path from onboarding to payroll.

Manage worker onboarding and workforce data in Xemplo while Talenox remains your payroll system.

When onboarding is complete, worker information can flow into Talenox to create the employee record.

For Xemplo Bill clients, payroll batches can also move into Talenox as Pay Runs, while payroll categories, pay periods, and leave types sync back into Xemplo to keep payroll data aligned.

  • Transfer payroll batches – including relevant time, leave, and expense values – into Talenox Pay Runs*
  • Bring tax, superannuation, and other payroll costs back into Xemplo*
  • Sync Talenox Pay Items, Pay Periods, and Leave Types into Xemplo*

Xemplo Worker → Talenox Employee

When a worker completes onboarding in Xemplo, the integration creates a corresponding Employee record in Talenox. Information collected during onboarding populates the employee profile, helping ensure Talenox has the information required to correctly process the worker. Depending on the fields configured for the integration, this may include personal information, contact details, employment details, bank account information, tax details, and other payroll-related information. This is the only Talenox sync point available without Xemplo Bill.

Xemplo Payroll Batch → Talenox Pay Run

For Xemplo Bill clients, payroll batches created in Xemplo sync to Talenox as Pay Runs. This transfers payroll data prepared in Xemplo into Talenox for payroll processing. Depending on the client’s configuration and payroll process, the Pay Run may include worker payments, timesheet data, leave, expenses, and other payroll-related values included in the batch. Leave and expenses do not sync to Talenox as standalone Leave Request or Expense records. These values can still be included in the Payroll Batch export when they are captured through Xemplo Bill timesheets.

Talenox Pay Run Elements → Xemplo On-Costs

For Xemplo Bill clients, Pay Run Elements calculated in Talenox sync back into Xemplo as On-Costs. These may include payroll liabilities such as tax, superannuation, and other employment costs calculated during the Pay Run. Returning these values to Xemplo allows them to be included in billing calculations, meaning payroll liabilities and associated employment costs are accurately reflected.

Talenox Pay Items → Xemplo Pay Categories

For Xemplo Bill clients, Talenox Pay Items sync into Xemplo as Pay Categories. These categories classify the different payments that can apply to workers, including ordinary hours, overtime, allowances, and other pay items. Syncing them from Talenox ensures Xemplo uses the same payroll classifications as the payroll system.

Talenox Pay Periods → Xemplo Pay Schedules

For Xemplo Bill clients, Talenox Pay Periods sync into Xemplo as Pay Schedules. Pay Schedules define the payroll frequency and cycle used for workers. Syncing Pay Periods from Talenox keeps worker payroll settings in Xemplo aligned with the schedules used for payroll processing.

Talenox Leave Types → Xemplo Leave Categories

For Xemplo Bill clients, Talenox Leave Types sync into Xemplo as Leave Categories. These categories classify the types of leave that may be included in payroll processing, such as annual leave, sick leave, and other leave types configured in Talenox. This way, leave values captured through Xemplo Bill timesheets are categorised consistently with Talenox payroll.

Additional Note

The integration does not support importing existing Talenox employees into Xemplo as Workers. Neither does it upport standalone Leave Request or Expense sync points. Leave and expense values can still be passed to Talenox through the Xemplo Payroll Batch export when they are included through Xemplo Bill timesheets. Worker → Employee is the only sync point supported without Xemplo Bill. All other Talenox data sync points require Xemplo Bill.
