Simplifying Account & Access Management With Xemplo 3.30 HERO

Xemplo 3.30 strengthens account security, simplifies access, and improves data accuracy across your workforce. Keep assignments and billing flowing smoothly; sharpen how you report on revenue, tax, and training outcomes.

What's New in Xemplo 3.30

  • Stronger, easier to manage account security
    • Mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA is now required for all users accessing Xemplo (with limited legacy exceptions already communicated), so every login is verified via code or device biometrics.
    • Self-service account activation links
Invited users whose seven-day activation link has expired can request a new one themselves via "Forgot My Password" on the login screen, instead of relying on an admin to resend the invite.
  • Smoother assignment and worker experiences
    • Improved Assignment Specifications on mobile
The Assignment Specification accept/reject flow has been optimised for mobile devices, making documents easier to read and action buttons easier to use on smaller screens.
    • Keep worker data in sync across systems
A new Terminate Worker API lets integrations programmatically end worker records in Xemplo so downstream systems can stay in sync.
    • Get clearer insight into revenue and training
Xemplo Analytics now includes total Excluded Tax and Total Tax for invoices, plus training course completion dates and outcomes for use in dashboards and visualisations.
    • Improve costing and configuration flexibility
On-costs with Automatic Superannuation Rate can now be used as variables in Advanced Formulas for more accurate cost modelling. A support-enabled override can disable automatic company name syncing from Bullhorn to Xemplo, where that behaviour is not desired.
  • More reliable worker and onboarding data
    • Automatic cleanup and country-specific data entry
Workers in Billing-enabled companies are automatically terminated after six months of inactivity, improving data hygiene. US onboarding date fields now use the US date format, and Positions receive UX enhancements.
    • Expanded Expert by Xemplo and Kineo libraries
New Expert courses (Workplace Sexual Harassment, Working in Heat, Hazardous Chemicals) plus access to 150+ paid Kineo partner courses sit alongside the existing free library.

What this means for you

  • Reduce login challenges and improve security
Stronger authentication and self-service access reduce support requests and risk.
  • Keep assignments and billing running smoothly
Improved workflows and integrations reduce gaps between work and billing.
  • Improve visibility into margin and tax
With invoice tax fields and richer analytics, it's easier to see how tax and revenue are behaving across regions and customers, and to spot where margin might be leaking.
  • Align costing with your operating model
More flexible on-cost formulas and Bullhorn controls mean your costing and company configuration match your operating model (not tool limitations).
  • Maintain cleaner data and relevant training
Automatic termination of inactive workers, country-specific onboarding dates and expanded Expert/Kineo content help you keep records current and roll out training that matches local requirements and risk.

Platform enhancements

  • Simplified access management and approvals
Mandatory MFA and self-service activation link regeneration improve account security and reduce manual access requests, while Team Manager accounts allow leave and expense approvals without full admin access.
  • More reliable assignment and timesheet handling
Clearing an assignment end date to run indefinitely automatically re-enables the assignment and resumes timesheet generation, helping prevent unintentional gaps in billing workflows.
  • More accurate costing and Bullhorn control
On-costs with Automatic Superannuation Rate can now be used as variables in Advanced Formulas, and a support-enabled override can disable automatic company name syncing from Bullhorn to Xemplo where needed.
  • Improved analytics and invoice tax handling
Xemplo Analytics now includes invoice Excluded Tax and Total Tax fields, and multi-country agencies can set default invoice tax codes from the agency's tax settings to align with local tax rules.
  • Cleaner worker records and onboarding data
Workers in Billing-enabled companies are automatically terminated after six months of inactivity, US onboarding date fields now use the US date format, and Positions have received UX enhancements for easier management.
