Xemplo 3.35 makes complex assignments easier to manage across regions. Strengthen onboarding and review workflows to support US and international requirements, and keep billing and compliance data accurate across regions.
What’s New in Xemplo 3.35
- Clearer views of complex on-costs and rates
- Easier advanced on-cost formulas
The on-cost configuration screen has been updated so advanced formulas are easier to read, scroll and edit, particularly for long or multi scenario billing arrangements. - Track changes to assignment terms over time
Assignment Specifications now retain historical documents as well as the current version, so users can see how terms have changed over time from the Documents tab in Assignments.
- Easier advanced on-cost formulas
- Stronger global work rights support
- US work rights and identifiers
Xemplo now supports secure capture of US Social Security Numbers and structured US work rights evidence using dedicated fields and jurisdiction appropriate terminology, with sensitive data protected in line with Xemplo's security standards. - Enhanced Work Rights and VEVO checks
VEVO checks automatically re run when travel documents or work rights records are updated (including passport country changes), on top of the existing 30 day automated checks, and the Work Rights entry screen has been refreshed to make data entry clearer and faster. - Expand safety and compliance training
A new Health and Safety Checklist course has been added to the Expert library for Australian customers, supporting structured assessments of individual working environments.
- US work rights and identifiers
What this means for you
- More confidence in what you’re billing and why
Clearer formulas, rate history and location‑aware reporting make it easier to understand true labour costs and explain changes, instead of relying on manual notes. - Stronger, jurisdiction‑ready compliance foundations
Keep work rights and eligibility data accurate with automated checks and region-specific support. - Onboarding that feels smoother for workers and HR
Simpler review flows, reduced duplicate verification steps and better visibility of issues mean less back‑and‑forth to get new starters set up correctly. - Cleaner master data for downstream systems
Tighter rules around company status, worker creation and API data keep your core worker and company records consistent for payroll, billing and reporting.
Platform enhancements
- Billing and on-cost visibility
Analytics tracks assignment rate changes, the Assignment Report shows Location, on-cost reports use Live Margin logic, timesheet approval methods lock after submission, the Timesheet Report shows Submitted/Approved/Verified, and invoices download using their invoice number. - Contract Placements and ad hoc billing controls
Improvements across Contract Placements, Service Agreements and some Bullhorn integration features reduce mandatory admin, tighten compliance, support accurate margin calculations and clarify who is responsible for key steps. - Onboarding usability and review workflows
HR reviewers can return work rights feedback and edit super, workers skip SMS verification if they have already completed 2FA, UK onboarding uses the "New Starter Checklist", and issues with contract display and work rights country selection have been resolved. - Platform APIs and user management
APIs now return Emergency Contacts, Department ID, credential file information and active workflows; HR Managers no longer update Positions by default (access can be re granted if needed); and user management screens have been streamlined. - Company lifecycle and worker data
Companies cannot be inactivated while workers remain active, new workers cannot be added to inactive companies, US workers support SSNs and US specific work rights types, and super and leave entries display with correct values and units.
